Iconz Elite is delighted to announce that Technical Director Chris Birchall will be in attendance at this Sunday’s South Florida Iconz Elite Tryouts.
Birchall, who enjoyed an outstanding professional career spanning England, the United States and internationally with Trinidad & Tobago, will be on hand throughout the tryouts to work with players and provide an insight into the standards and expectations of the Iconz Elite pathway.
A former MLS Cup Champion with LA Galaxy, Chris also represented Trinidad & Tobago at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, making him one of the most experienced members of the Iconz Elite technical team.
His professional career also included spells with Coventry City, Port Vale, LA Galaxy and the Columbus Crew, giving him extensive experience across both the English and American game.
As Technical Director of Iconz Elite, Chris plays an important role in developing the program’s football philosophy and player pathway. His involvement at the South Florida tryouts provides players with a unique opportunity to be assessed and coached by someone who has experienced the highest levels of the game.
A Special Opportunity for South Florida Players
Sunday’s tryouts are an important part of the selection process for the upcoming Iconz Elite program, and players attending will have the opportunity to showcase their ability in front of Chris and the Iconz Elite coaching team.
Chris will be looking for players who demonstrate not only technical ability, but also game intelligence, competitiveness, attitude, work ethic and the potential to develop within the Iconz Elite environment.
For players and families attending, this is a great opportunity to experience first-hand the level of coaching and expertise that sits behind the Iconz Elite program.
